Gmail tips

We all use any type of email service, and in fact most of us use gmail. Therefore, when we use something that is not so good, it is a good idea to learn some tips and tricks so that you can get the job done with higher productivity in less time. In any case, it is always convenient to learn some skills and techniques. So we have listed the top 7 tips you should know. let’s start.

MUTE annoying NOISY EMAIL THREADS:

Most of what we do on whatsapp or any messaging app is to mute the most annoying group. Similarly, there are some email threads that bother us, so what can we do, thanks to gmail for providing us with the same functionality in different ways. Let’s see how to do this. First mute the thread to open the conversation you want to mute, then click the three-point button at the top and click Mute to go to the menu. The conversation will now be moved to your archive and will be muted. Remember that it will always exist there. So if you want to see it again, you can open all mailing labels.

Send and archive for victory:

So if you are as messy as I used to be, the inbox is awkward. You can always add some second send options for all replies and email forwards to archive responses to your replies or forwards. And you don’t have to worry about it. If someone misses something, if someone replies to your email, it will appear in the inbox again, so you won’t miss anything. How do you do that? To do this first go to set up then general, here go to send and archive. Now select the show&archive button in the reply and save your changes. From now on, you will find the Send and Archive button near the Regulator Send button.

SET UNDO sent to 30 seconds:

Many times we send some emails, we don’t want to send them now, maybe you missed the content you want to add before sending anything, the reason may be anything, but we always hope that if we can undo this. So let me tell you that Gmail allows you to do this, so you can also do this by doing this. Go to Settings, then select General, then Undo, select the maximum time limit of 30 seconds, and then save only the changes. Now when you send any email. You will see a pop-up window indicating that an email has been sent with an undo button next to it.

Hidden in plain sight: advanced search:

So who built the world’s largest search engine Gmail. So obviously, gmail also has some powerful search features. To search in a powerful way, just click the down arrow next to the search bar, which will open the Email Advanced Search panel, where you’ll see many advanced search options.

Preview PANE looks like an appearance:

So you have a big monitor, only one email at a time, leaving the inbox is not something I suggest you do. So what you can do is preview the email in the preview in the preview platform. This is not a feature that Google provides for you by default. So just follow these simple steps to enable it. Fisr goes to Settings and then goes to Advanced, where you click to enable the preview pane and save your changes, there is nothing in the inbox you will find a switch, you can choose to split the screen horizontally or vertically.

Select your label:

Gmail has an amazing feature that filters out email by type. Just like you get social emails and updates in separate tabs. But if you want to customize it to suit your needs, you must first go to Settings, then go to your inbox and go to the category where you can customize the categories as needed.

Send emails to large attachments via GOOGLE DRIVE:

So Google only allows you to send attachments smaller than 25 MB. But this is not always the case, you only want to send less than 25 mbs of content so that you can send files larger than 25 mbs. There is a small Drive icon at the bottom of the Gmail compose window. It allows you to attach files stored in Drive or just send links. So just upload the file to your drive and share it.
